This spectacular view captured from the observation deck of the Empire State Building effectively encapsulates a collaborated collection of architectural designs by generations of architects. Which in turn, represent the expanding world in the way the old meets the new in terms of style and also the interesting variation in building height.

This spectacular piece of contemporary architecture stands today in the place of the former World Trade Centre. Its immaculate structure allows it to stand541.3 metres tall whilst still remaining aesthetically pleasing in multiple perspective points. Its bright contrast against its surroundings further conveys its unique place and reminder of the past in Manhattan's Downtown. Therefore, uniquely representing how simplistic lines and balance develop innovative new forms of modern architecture whilst also expressing the importance of remembrance.
Australian flora has an abundance of structures and symmetries which inspire me to merge Australian natives and contemporary architecture to create unique urban designs. These unique designs will contribute to societies built environment by adding to the pre-existing infrastructure designed by past architects in their individual styles as a response to the growing world. By comparing the overlapping characteristics of each aspect, particular links were developed in my project New Era.
